Organic JAS accreditation: Approved Overseas accreditation body for JAS Organic Certification by MAFF

JAS (Japan Agricultural Standards) Organic Certification is a system in Japan that ensures the authenticity and quality of organic products. It is administered by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries (MAFF) in Japan. The JAS certification guarantees that agricultural products labelled as “organic“ meet the country's specific organic standards. Lacon Quality Certification Pvt Ltd is an approved Overseas accreditation in India with activities approved in India, Middle east countries, other Asian and African countries. The scope of activities includes inspection and certification services of Organic products of plant origin, organic processed foods, organic feeds and organic livestock products.

PGS India Standards: Approved Regional council for PGS organic certification, by National Center of Organic Farming (NCOF)

Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) is an alternative organic certification approach that involves active participation of farmers and other stakeholders in the certification process. In India, the National Centre of Organic Farming (NCOF) is the nodal agency responsible for the promotion and development of organic farming practices. Lacon Quality Certification Private limited is authorised as Regional Council under PGS India program since 2017. The scope of activities includes undertaking PGS training programs, Verification and approval of Peer appraisal by the farmer groups and scope generation. We cover Crop production and recently we were also approved for PGS certification of processing and handling units.

BioSuisse Organic

Bio Suisse is the leading organic farming organization in Switzerland, representing over 7,100 organic farms. It sets strict private organic standards that go beyond the EU organic regulations. Products certified under Bio Suisse carry the “Bud” (Knospe) label, ensuring compliance with high environmental, social, and animal welfare standards. BIO SUISSE ORGANIC goods may only be imported into Switzerland through importers who have signed a valid licence contract with Bio Suisse. Usually, importers will apply for their potential suppliers to obtain Bio Suisse certification so that products can be marketed in Switzerland as Bio Suisse products.
